Beautiful, bold reds in your photos, Luiz! Nothing compares to the scent of a rose, yes? And we decorate with the São João's flower here as poinsettias. These are so lush and healthy.
Thanks for sharing. Have a great week.

A rosa está tão perfeita e bem cultivada, parabéns aos amigos José Luiz e Ignês. A folhagem é bico de papagaio ou semelhante?
Tenha um feliz Today's Flowers;
abraços, Denise

Your friends have a beautiful garden. Lovely roses and poinsettias growing so nice together. In Canada, I only see the poinsettia at Christmas time in pots - it wouldn't be Christmas without one. It's such a treat to see them growing in a garden setting. Thank you.

I love the poinsettias in your friends' garden!! And sure do wish I could smell that lovely rose you have. Thanks for sharing with us today!

Beautiful roses and I don't think I've ever seen a poinsettia that wasn't growing in a pot.

O meu amigo Don Luigi não está perdendo uma. Sai de casa e leva a câmera. Essas fotos ficaram ótimas.

Well done pra você.

Beautiful garden.

Luiz, I like your flowers today. They are large ones and colorful.

We had the tail end of Hurricane Ike here all day. I lost my cherry tree and a lot of limbs. The neighbors lost three trees and they fell on a power line and that weight broke the power pole. Not a good day here in SW Ohio.

Mine are on Canon Pixels

We have them here (Flanders, Belgium) for Christmas too, but of course here they come from a greenhouse.

Beautiful roses are never too common to enjoy! The poinsettia growing outdoors is foreign to me as we grow them in pots at Christmas. ;-)

En Argentina, esta planta se llama "Estrella Federal" y viene en dos tamaños, como planta y como árbol. Es uno de mis favoritos, por sus hojas que parecen flores. Una belleza.
